A community Bank is seeking an experienced, driven and forward thinking manager to assist in overseeing the loan services & documentation team. In this role you will manage the loan documentation and processing services for the bank loan portfolio: Commercial, Construction, Letters of Credit, Participations, and Consumer. Develop department goals, establish procedures and regulatory requirements, integrate departmental training needs for staff and new product knowledge. You will manage three supervisors overseeing a team of 35 staff.

Responsibilities Include:
-Analyzes organizational workflows and production results. Initiates changes to reduce duplication of effort, increase productivity, improve efficiency and eliminate costly processing errors.
-Functions as loan services/documentation representative on multiple internal committees and special projects responsible for analyzing new projects, consolidating and incorporating business gained through mergers and acquisitions, identifying cost containment measures and improving quality of customer service.
-Manages the various loan documentation and processing units, including legal file room. Establishes goals, develops operating and servicing standards, identifies budgetary and staffing requirements and ensures department maintains a "satisfactory" rating on audits.
-Functions as the system owner for commercial, construction and consumer loan systems. Ensures that the loan systems are upgraded in a vanilla format; that users are provided with the latest product enhancements for new products; identifies training needs of staff and creates training opportunities to meet these needs.
-Provides guidance to other bank departments to ensure their paperwork is accurately completed thereby avoiding timely delays in processing of loans.
-Develops supervisory skills in subordinates. Reviews all staffing actions. Ensures established Human Resources and Compensation policies are followed and implement any necessary resolution measures.

Desired Skills & Requirements:
-5-7 years of experience within loan operations management.
-4-5 years supervisory and managerial experience.
-In-depth knowledge of various loan types and associated processing activities and a general working knowledge of bank activities which effect loan processing (i.e., credit, systematics, branch operations).
-Bachelors degree in business-related field preferred.
-Must have a working knowledge of loan processing software and operational hardware.
-Excellent managerial, analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to travel to various off-site locations for meetings.
